Principal Consultant (Finance)

Role Overview

We are seeking for a senior leadership responsible for driving enterprise-wide IFS ERP transformations. You will serve as the primary solution architect and trusted advisor to C-suite and financial executives, translating complex corporate financial strategies into scalable ERP designs. This role focuses on leading high-value implementations, mitigating deployment risks, and ensuring technical and operational alignment across global business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Solution Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design and blueprinting of complex IFS Finance solutions, ensuring seamless integration across multi-entity, multi-currency, and global business frameworks.
• Strategic C-Suite Advisory: Act as the primary consultant to CFOs and finance leaders, advising on business process re-engineering (BPR), global compliance standards (IFRS/GAAP), and ERP best practices.
• Delivery & Risk Ownership: Oversee the functional delivery of large-scale IFS implementations. Identify and mitigate project risks, conduct system design reviews, and resolve high-level escalation points.
• Stakeholder & Change Management: Facilitate high-impact workshops for steering committees and executive stakeholders to drive consensus on critical design paths and maximize system adoption.
• Practice & Team Leadership: Mentor and upskill senior functional consultants, establish deployment frameworks, and contribute to the growth of the ERP delivery practice.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 12+ years of progressive ERP consulting experience, with a proven track record of architecting and leading at least 3–4 full-lifecycle, enterprise-scale IFS Finance implementations (IFS Cloud preferred).
• Domain Expertise: Deep functional mastery of core IFS Finance applications (General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Project Finance, and Treasury/Cash Flow).
• ERP Migrations: Strong experience managing complex, legacy data migrations from other Tier-1 platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) into IFS.
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field. Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) or an MBA are highly desirable.
• Leadership Capabilities: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical and finance teams.
