Project Manager

Location: Colombo  •  Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Hands-on Project Management experience for 10+ years covering the full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile processes
• Understand the project scope/objectives and ensure technical feasibility with the support of the Technical team
• Defining project governance, processes and standards
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, timeline and expected quality
• Ensure the right resource availability for the project requirements
• Develop a detailed project plan/sprint plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using metrics and maintain the agreed process standards
• Report risks, issues and dependencies and escalate to management as needed
• Status reporting on agreed frequencies to stakeholders
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good experience in client management
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal support teams for delivery dependencies
• Team management and arranging career progression plans for the team
• Revenue and profitability responsibilities will be an added advantage
• Forecasting project revenue to management
• Ensure the on-time project billing and invoicing process
